The Cottage is situated on the owner's farm approximately 4 miles from the village of West Heslerton.  West Heslerton is on the main A64 trunk road running from Leeds through to Scarborough. 

Coming from the West along the A64 turn right at West Heslerton which will be sign posted West Lutton and Driffield.  Follow the road past the village and up on to the hill top.  After you have travelled for approx. 4 miles you will come across a junction to the left with a signpost saying Sherburn 4 miles, there are also weight restriction signs at the junction as well.  Turn left there and as you turn left you will see across the fields in front of you Whin Moor Farm Cottage on the farm.  Follow the road up and take the first entrance to the farm, a telegraph pole is at the gate.  Come up the drive and drive along the front of the farm buildings and through the gate to the Cottage.
